I …………………………………………………………….a citizen of Amawbia having been installed as the Okpaligwe of Amawbia Town do hereby solemnly declare that I will at times, faithfully assist and/or support the Okpaligwe of Amawbia in the discharge of his functions. I will truthfully and honestly offer to the Okpaligwe such advice as will in the circumstances be in the overall interest of Amawbia Community and Town. I shall cease to be a member of he council as soon as I lose the position by which I became a member or found wanting by the Okpaligwe I of Amawbia Town.

Finally, I pledge my loyalty to Okpaligwe and Amawbia Community in general.
