I………………………………………………… a citizen of Amawbia, having been elected for the period beginning …………………………  as a member of the Central Council of Amawbia Town Union, do hereby solemnly declare that I will at all times, faithfully discharge the functions of my membership of the Central Council as provided for in the Constitution of Amawbia Town Union. I will ensure truth, justice and impartiality in all my actions and in the decisions and actions of the Central Council. I will do my best to protect the interests and integrity of Amawbia Community and Town, which I will always place above those of any other town or person or section of Amawbia Town. I shall cease to function as a member of the Central Council at the end of my term of office unless I am re-elected or if my term of office is terminated in accordance with the Constitution of Amawbia Town Union.

Finally, I pledge my loyalty to Amawbia Community in general.
